Renault je izvršio paljenje svog novog bolida za 2018. godinu.
Francuski proizvođač je na svom Twitter profilu postavio video u kojem su producirali zvuk paljenja novog R.S.18 bolida. Pored toga naveli su:
„Pravljenje novog bolida- mjeseci rada, sati opreznog razmišljanja, tračak nade i najtajnovitija faza sezone.“
„Pokušali smo sve da za vas zavirimo u novi R.S. 18 dok ga prvi put palimo.“
„Da li smo uspjeli?“
